Mr. Nitus Voraphonpiput, Chief Executive Officer of RATCH Group Public Company Limited as Chairman of Hin Kong Power Company Limited, presided over celebration ceremony for the success of Hin Kong combined cycle power plant, which officially commenced commercial operations with full contracted capacity of 1,400 megawatts. The first block of the power plant began commercial operations on March 1, 2024, followed by the second on January 1, 2025.

Located in Hin Kong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Ratchaburi Province, the gas- fired Hin Kong combined cycle power plant has total installed capacity of 1,540 megawatts and is operated by Hin Kong Power Company Limited, a joint venture between RATCH Group Public Company Limited (51% shareholding) and Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (49% equity stake).

The power plant distributes electricity to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) under a 25-year power purchase agreement and wishes to serve power demand particularly in western

region corresponding to the government's energy security policy, as well as national grid security. The power plant was designed and equipped with advanced and high-efficiency generation technology and environmental management systems, along with adherence to international safety management standards, reflecting a commitment to product responsibility and fostering trust in local community surrounding the power plant.
